Build a predictable and supportable StamPOS workstation.

System requirements

Use a 64-bit Windows 11 Pro device with a minimum 1366 × 768 display. The published minimum is 4 GB RAM and 2 GB free storage; 8 GB RAM and SSD storage are recommended. Allow additional free space for records, backups and updates. See the supported configurations before choosing hardware.

Windows terminal

Use a reliable Windows device with current security updates and a stable network connection where card payments are required. Disable unplanned sleep during trading while retaining appropriate screen-lock and security controls.

Receipt printer

For a compatible network receipt printer, select NETWORK_PRINTER and enter the printer IP address and port 9100. Save the settings and print a test receipt. Follow the step-by-step setup guide and worked example.

StamPOS has field-verified receipt printing to an Ethernet-connected network printer by configured IP address through the normal sale workflow. This is stronger evidence than a simple Windows test page or port check. For each deployment, still confirm paper size, receipt layout, print density, cutting behaviour and any model-specific driver or SDK requirements.

Cash drawer

StamPOS has field-verified a printer-triggered cash-drawer pulse through the live sale workflow. Where the drawer connects through the receipt printer, verify the physical cable, drawer port and pulse behaviour for the selected hardware. The verified capability should not be treated as a guarantee that every drawer/printer combination uses identical wiring.

Payment terminal

For Linkly-connected EFTPOS, follow the approved pairing and merchant setup process. Record the terminal identity and device location, and keep production credentials secure.

Network

Core StamPOS data is local. Network receipt printing requires the POS terminal and printer to remain reachable on the configured local network, while connected card transactions additionally require reliable access to the configured payment service. Test the actual event network and plan a fallback for outages.

Pre-event readiness check

Confirm power, charging, local network, printer IP, printer paper, spare paper, complete sample receipt, cash-drawer pulse, application version, backups, operator accounts, products, receipt details, payment logon and a controlled test transaction.
